Physicians and their families are invited to attend this free symposium on Saturday, November 3, 2001 at the Museum Of Science & Industry. Continental Breakfast, Lunch, Access to the Museum, Omnimax Theater tickets, Educational Programs and Parking will be provided. Physicians will receive a maximum 3 hours of Category 1 CME provided by Midwest Physicians Alliance.

Program Objectives:

At the end of this symposium participants will be able to:

Understand the efficacy and side effects of
   commonly used herbal and dietary supplements.

Select the optimal stress tests
   for the evaluation of coronary artery disease.

Apply a rational, stepwise approach for the therapy of hypertension.

Implement the new NCEP II guidelines
   in patients with hypercholesterolemia.

Integrate the use of new treatment modalities
   including beta-blockers and brain natriuretic peptide
   in the therapy of CHF.
